This Stihl BG 86 Blower is a mighty hand held leaf blower

To clear large areas of leaves and grass, suitable for use in very dusty areas, thanks to the new HD2 filter. Comes with a round nozzle, flat nozzle, 2 MIX engine, a locking throttle lever with a stop button.

Stihl BG 86 Blower Key Features:

Reduced emission engine technology

2 stroke engine with stratified charge. A fuel free layer of air is created between the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase. It helps reducing the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. This results in more power with a lower weight. It also help reduce up to 20% lower fuel consumption than regular 2 stroke engines and significantly reduced exhaust emissions.

Manual fuel pump (Purger)

A small fuel pump in the STIHL BG 86 Blower delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required following extended breaks in operations.

STIHL ElastoStart

STIHL ElastoStart reduces the shock caused by the compression of the engine during starting. The compression shock is taken away from the user’s joints and muscles through a spring or rubber element in the starter handle.

HD2 Filter

The HD2 filter uses a polyethylene filter material with pores up to 70% finer than fleece and polyamide filters, allowing it to block even the finest dust. It also repels oil and water, which makes cleaning quick and easy. You can remove and insert the PET filter cartridge without any tools.

One handled control with soft grip area

For a secure and comfortable grip. The integrated anti-static system counters electrostatic charging.

Throttle lock with built in stop switch

The running machine switches off immediately after a brief press of a button. Once the machine is at a standstill, the ignition activates again automatically, meaning it is always ready to start.

Anti-vibration system

Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can cause long-term effects on the blood vessels in the hands and arms. To prevent this, STIHL developed an effective anti-vibration system that dampens engine oscillations and significantly reduces handle vibration, making operation more comfortable and safer.
