Designed for lawns up to 6000m², this AURA-R2 model is ideal for large private gardens, estates, landscaped properties and other extensive grass areas. Furthermore, its wire-free navigation removes the need for traditional boundary cables.

Wire-Free Robotic Mowing

The EGO AURA-R2 uses advanced positioning and vision technology to create virtual boundaries around your lawn. As a result, there is no need to install traditional boundary wire around the mowing area.

This makes installation simpler while also providing greater flexibility. The mower can manage multiple mowing zones, making it suitable for larger and more complex gardens.

PATH IQ™ Intelligent Navigation

At the centre of the AURA-R2 is EGO’s PATH IQ™ navigation system. It combines RTK, VSLAM and VIO technologies to help the mower navigate accurately around your lawn.

RTK provides precise satellite positioning using correction data from the PATH IQ™ antenna. Meanwhile, VSLAM uses the mower’s cameras to recognise and map its surroundings.

VIO also helps the mower maintain its position when satellite signals are temporarily unavailable. Together, these technologies allow the AURA-R2 to navigate complex lawns without relying on boundary wire.

Intelligent Stripe Mowing

The AURA-R2 uses an intelligent stripe mowing pattern to create an even and professional-looking finish. Rather than simply moving randomly around the lawn, it follows planned mowing routes.

After completing a mowing cycle, the mower changes its mowing angle. Therefore, visible tracks are reduced and grass wear is distributed more evenly across the lawn.

Designed For Large Lawns

With a recommended mowing area of up to 6000m², the EGO AURA-R2 Robotic Lawn Mower 6000m² is designed for customers who need to maintain significantly larger areas of grass.

The mower works automatically according to its programmed schedule. It can return to its charging station when required and then continue mowing when sufficient battery charge is available.

As a result, the AURA-R2 can maintain large lawns regularly without requiring constant operator involvement.

Smart Obstacle Detection

The EGO AURA-R2 uses an advanced camera system to detect obstacles around the lawn. It can recognise objects and adjust its route to help avoid potential collisions.

In addition, rainfall detection can pause mowing during wet conditions. This helps protect both the mower and the lawn when conditions are unsuitable for mowing.

Adjustable Cutting Height

The AURA-R2 offers an electronically adjustable cutting height from 20mm to 90mm. This allows you to choose the appropriate height for your lawn and preferred finish.

The mower uses a 24cm cutting width with three pivoting blades. Its micro-cutting system removes small amounts of grass regularly. Consequently, the fine clippings can return nutrients to the lawn.

Handles Slopes Up To 50%

Large lawns are not always completely flat. Fortunately, the EGO AURA-R2 can handle gradients of up to 50%.

This allows it to work effectively across sloping areas and more challenging sections of the garden. Therefore, it is a practical choice for larger properties with varied terrain.

EGO Connect App

The AURA-R2 connects to the EGO Connect app using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G. This provides convenient control and monitoring from your smartphone.

You can manage mowing schedules and adjust mower settings remotely. Furthermore, connected features allow you to monitor the machine without needing to be beside it.

Three years of data connectivity are included, helping you stay connected to your mower.
