Cobra Fortis 20FTE Cylinder Lawnmower

Cobra Fortis 20FTE Cylinder Lawnmower

The Cobra Fortis 20FTE Cylinder Lawnmower delivers a precise finish across fine lawns and sports turf. It combines EGO 56V battery technology with a professional 20″ cylinder cutting system.

The Fortis 20FTE uses a 10-blade cutting cylinder and can cut as low as 3mm. Therefore, it can create the close, striped finish often associated with bowling greens, cricket pitches and high-quality lawns.

EGO 56V Battery Power

The Fortis 20FTE uses EGO 56V ARC Lithium™ battery technology. This provides cordless power without the need for petrol or a mains cable.

The kit includes two EGO 56V 6Ah batteries and a quick charger. Together, the batteries provide an approximate runtime of 70 minutes, depending on mowing conditions.

You can also use the batteries across other compatible EGO cordless garden machinery. This makes the Fortis 20FTE a useful option for customers already using the EGO battery system.

20″ Fine Turf Cutting Cylinder

The Fortis 20FTE features a 51cm (20″) 10-blade cutting cylinder. The hardened ground-steel blades provide a clean and precise cut.

The cylinder produces up to 158 cuts per metre. It can also cut as low as 3mm, making it ideal for maintaining fine turf and creating a professional finish.

Create A Striped Finish

The Fortis 20FTE uses a cast ribbed split rear roller to create defined stripes across the lawn. The split roller also improves manoeuvrability around the garden or playing surface.

The rear roller helps level the turf as you mow. As a result, you can achieve a neat and consistent finish across the entire area.

Steel Grooved Front Roller

The machine uses a steel grooved front roller to support the cutting system. Its grooved design presents more grass towards the bottom blade.

This helps the cylinder produce a clean and precise cut. You can also adjust the cutting height from the front of the machine.

3mm To 30mm Cutting Height

The Cobra Fortis 20FTE offers a cutting height range of 3–30mm. This gives you plenty of control over the finished height.

Use the lower settings when maintaining fine turf. Alternatively, raise the cutting height for larger lawns and less intensive mowing.

Turf Rake Included

The Fortis 20FTE includes a turf rake as standard. The rake lifts the grass blades before the cylinder reaches them.

This helps the cutting cylinder achieve a cleaner finish. It also makes the rake useful when maintaining fine turf and closely mown grass.

75 Litre Grass Box

The Fortis 20FTE features a large 75-litre grass collection box. Its generous capacity allows you to mow for longer before emptying the clippings.

The grass box also removes quickly when you need to empty it. Therefore, you can spend less time stopping and more time mowing.

Heavy-Duty Drive System

Cobra equips the Fortis range with a heavy-duty drive system. This provides strong performance and supports regular use across demanding turf areas.

The system also works with Cobra’s interchangeable cassette system. You can purchase additional cassettes separately for tasks such as scarifying, aerating, dethatching and brushing.

Ideal For Fine Turf

The Cobra Fortis 20FTE suits a range of professional and domestic applications. For example, it works well on:

• Large lawns
• Bowling greens
• Cricket pitches
• Golf clubs
• Sports grounds
• Fine turf areas
• Premium domestic lawns

Its combination of cylinder cutting, rear roller drive and fine height adjustment makes it particularly suited to customers who want a highly manicured finish.
